PHOTOMANIPULATIONS!

So, you ask yourself, just do I mean when I say I do photomanips? Well there are two main genres that I work in: movie posters and Star Trek characters.

Star... Trek? You're a girl and you like Star Trek? Well, yeah. I'm a girl but I'm a geeky girl. So being part of the STPMA is fun because it combines two things I enjoy - Star Trek and digital design. Basically what we do is take actors or models and turn them into Star Trek characters. Sometimes this means putting them in uniforms, sometimes it's as simple as turning someone's eyes from blue to black or sometimes it's making them into a Klingon or something. That's hard. Real hard. But it's fun, too.

I got into the movie poster creation through an online moviemaking game. You have a production company that makes and releases movies into virtual theaters in an attempt to turn a profit. In addition, you can make websites and posters for other players through adding on a creative company aspect to your account. Once I started making posters for other players, I realized that I really enjoyed doing it. In fact, I'd like to someday make movie posters for a living.
